I pulled my first real scam and ended up with my first video camera when I was 17 years old. I wrote a letter to 4AD records requesting permission to document their acts when they came through town and then managed to work my way into taping other acts. I got stiffed by so many video clients that Arcane Productions, my video production effort, never got off the ground.
